Love is in the air, and it’s almost contagious ! Not sure about the actual falling in love part, but valentine’s related festivities sure turn each frown up side down, and it’s all so wonderful !
But just one day to celebrate love is not enough, don’t you agree? Valentine’s day or week must not put a lid onto celebration of love. Love each day, everyday! value simple things, surprise your loved ones, see them gleam with joy.
February is the officially hyped ‘month of love’ ! chocolate, teddy, hug, kiss and what not. Whether romantically involved or a single trooper, there’s no ‘not loving february’. Valentine’s week sure gets our juices going. Valentine’s decorations galore, heart shaped goodies, and all things red, are just about enough to make your eye twinkle.
From my experience of the capital, staying put on valentine’s is an opportunity missed. Valentine themed decorations are a delightful sight. And while you’re out there, don’t forget to dress the part. Dress up and get going !
When planning your valentine’s attire, whether it’s a flirty dress, a quirky mix of top and bottom, or a conservative option, don’t forget to put on some make up, if you’re not the make up wearing kind, you can this once to make it memorable if nothing else. Bold lips for night or a soothing flirty option from the pink range, if planning a day outing. Addition of heels and VOILA ! No matter what you choose to wear, always remember to make it yours, own it !
A little peek into my valentine’s day look:
Nothing screams valentines more than colour red! Picked up this knockout floor length cape gown from AND. Cape sleeves are making waves this season and what better than valentine’s day to bring them out. Paired it with nude heels, golden accessories and belt to accentuate body cuts.
WATCH- TITAN RAGA
HEELS- STEVE MADDEN
Not limiting valentine’s day to just the ones in love, I strongly recommend every single chap out there, dress up and go out with your gang. Have a blast!
