Be Poncho Ready

Here we are yet again with another styling post of the month .We had been thinking of doing one for quite a long time but somehow could not not decide as to what to come up with. However finally we are here with our first post together. It’s often the most likely of trend you end up liking and wearing the most – and for us this season, that trend is definitely the poncho. They first cropped up about 10 years ago – high neck and heavily fringed – but their comeback is much more modern and stylish.

Ponchos can be a little intimidating. They consist of a whole lot of fabric, and can very easily be unflattering or way too casual. But when they’re worn the right way, ponchos are amazing, and become something that every girl should own at least one of. They’re ridiculously cozy and comfortable, and they feel very bohemian.

So  we wanted to share with you possible ways of how to style ponchos and look fashionable by wearing this timeless piece.

For our post we picked up a white poncho which had net detailing on its sleeves and a black fringe poncho with crosia flower detailing on the neck. We teamed them with ripped denims and a short denim skirt respectively. We opted for grey sliver bellies for the white poncho and black pumps for the black one.

Not putting much emphasis on the accessories, we accessorised the white poncho with a black semi-statement neckpiece and layered it with another silver leaves neck adornment and for the black one we selected a black choker and also a hair extension of the same colour combination to complete the look.

  2. 2.  Wear a light poncho with shorts, wedge sandals and a hat.
  3. 3.  A poncho even looks cute layered over a dress with high boots.
  4. 4.  You can even wear your poncho over shorts with tights
  5. A pair of heels balances out a super big poncho, making your outfit a little more stream-lined.

6. Add a little fringe for a serious music festival vibe.
7. A long statement necklace goes along way in terms of glamour.
